We have Taller Buildings, But Shorter Tempers:
We have Wider Freeways, But Narrower Viewpoints:
We Spend More, But Have little:
We Buy More, But enjoy it Less:
We have Bigger Houses, But Smaller Families:
We have more Conveniences, But less Time:
We have More Degrees, But less Sense:
We have More Knowledge, But less Judgment:
We have More Experts, But More Problems:
We have More Medicines, But less Wellness:
We’ve Been All the Way To the Moon and Back,
But have trouble crossing the Street to meet our new neighbor:
We’ve conquered outer space, but no inner space:
We’ve done larger things, but not better things:
We plan more, But accomplish less:
We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait:
We have higher incomes, but less morals:
We have more acquaintances, but fewer friends:
We effort more, but less success:
